A documentary shows Hallyu Star Kim Hyun Joong’s 24 hours

A documentary featuring 24 hours in the life of Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong was recently broadcast.

On April 14, a special MBC feature, K-Pop Star Rocks the World—Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong, was aired. On the show, Kim talked about the hardships he had experienced and the efforts he had to put into becoming a superstar.

After his debut as a member of SS501, Kim went into acting, initially in KBS2’s Boys Before Flowers. Since then, the singer has achieved pan-Asian stardom as an active actor and solo singer.

The documentary shows Kim’s thorough preparation for his stage performances and his close relationships with his concert crew and co-workers. The footage demonstrates Kim’s great passion and modesty.

Kim says, “I think my performances on stage allow me to interact with my fans and appreciate their love even more. It’s my duty to impress those who come to my concerts.”

The modest singer and actor is currently preparing a world tour, titled the 2012 Kim Hyun Joong Fan Meeting, while also trying to choose his next acting project.

A letter written by JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong to Kim Hyun Joong has become an issue.

In the episode of MBC’s K-Pop Star Shakes the World–Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong which aired on April 17, Kim Hyun Joong shows his particularly close relationship with JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong.

The stars are seen having a meal together and frankly sharing about their stories for they haven’t seen each other for a long time.

Kim Hyun Joong says, “We have lived together for a year, but because we are both busy with activities abroad, the actual time we’ve spent together is only about a month.

When I was going through a hard time, Jae Joong hyung wrote me a letter. He said, ‘If there’s anything bothering you, don’t keep it to yourself. I’m there for you.’ I was so grateful for that letter.” He expresses his gratitude to Jae Joong.

On hearing this, Kim Jae Joong replies, “I received a letter back from Hyun Joong which read, ‘I’m sorry and thank you, hyung.’ I know it’s pretty awkward for guys to communicate with a letter, but still…” and laughed out loud.

Netizens who saw the episode commented: “I knew they were close but never expected them to be this close. How sweet of Kim Jae Joong to write a letter for Kim Hyun Joong?” “I’m so envious. Kim Hyun Joong, “I always dream of being a world star”

Top star Kim Hyun Joong recently talked about his rise to super-stardom.

On the April 14th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘K-Pop Star Captivating the World’, a close up of Kim Hyun Joong and his life was revealed to the viewers.

Of the many topics that he discussed, he talked about his rebellious past, in which he upset his parents over his stubborn pursuits of his musical desires, as well as his dream to become a world star. He even addressed the hot button issue if JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong by saying that he continues to maintain a close bond with the star, who has had a tumultuous year, through their passion for music.

One of the topics that viewers were most interested in was his thoughts on his meteoric rise to Hallyu superstar status through his breakout drama, ‘Boys Over Flowers‘.

He said, “That was my first acting production, but at the time, I was not really interested. However, I always dream of becoming a world star these days. I think dreaming big dreams allows you to get closer to achieving them.”

During the broadcast, the president of Kim Hyun Joong’s management company spared no compliments regarding the star by saying, “Kim Hyun Joong is excellent at taking care of himself and has a gift in maintaining a steady heart in any situation. He is very smart and tries much harder in his endeavors than others.”

Singer Kim Hyun Joong has been chosen as a model for a outdoor clothing brand.

On April 9, Kim’s agency, Key East, revealed that Kim has been chosen as the model for an outdoor brand.

Kim who is also modeling for other brands such as casual wear, cosmetics, jewelry, and duty-free shops proved himself as the “commercial king” by modeling for an outdoor brand as well.

A representative of the outdoor brand reveals, “We chose Kim Hyun Joong because his lively and healthy image suits our brand’s image well.”

Kim will start working as their model from mid-April and appear in various magazines and pictorials.

Hallyu sensation Kim Hyun-joong will have a frank discussion about his struggles with depression on a special MBC program profiling the singer, which will air on Saturday.

Kim will reveal the dark thoughts that went through his mind during his time in Japan on “Special Report: The K-pop Star Who Bewitched the World – Lucky Guy Kim Hyun-joong,” the show’s producers said.

MBC said that never-before-seen footage of Kim from his Japan arena tour will be shown to accompany the stories.

In addition, the 25-year-old star will open up about his 10-year friendship with JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong, whom he met before either successfully broke into the entertainment industry in Korea.

To examine Kim from a different angle, friends of the star will also appear on the special Hallyu program to discuss his school days.

And as Kim is currently preparing for the release of a new album in June, details about the upcoming record will be divulged on the show, too.

The ticket details for the fanmeet was released by concert organiser for the first-ever “Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012” which will be held 4 May 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It was revealed that this will be the first-ever fan meeting with a plump programme more akin to a mini concert. There will be a limited number of 3000 tickets for sale with less than 500 premiere seats and no more than 900 arena seats. Fans can look forward to spectacular laser shows, sprawling LED screen, over 10 hit songs from his solo albums and cozy takl show segments. Moreover, lucky fans will be able go on stage and interact with Kim Hyun Joong!

MBC to air documentary on Kim Hyun Joong

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong, who is very popular in Japan, will be the topic of a documentary.

MBC will produce a program which will report in-depth on K-pop stars, who are gaining popularity worldwide, and will record 24 hours of their day.

Kim will be the inaugural entertainer for the show. The K-pop Star Captures the World—Lucky Guy Kim Hyun Joong, which will document what Kim is doing in Japan, is slated to air on April 14.

On April 12, the production crew for the show said that the show will air Kim’s Japanese arena tour, fan meetings in Korea, activities in foreign countries, and preparations for his new album, which will be released in June.

The show will also air why Kim was depressed when he was performing in Japan and how he felt about it. In addition, Kim will show off his 10-year-long friendship with JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong. His school life and acting career will be discussed as well.

After Kim K-pop Star Captures the World will air about CNBLUE, B2ST, and IU.
