Kim Hyun Joong, “The King of commercials”





Singer Kim Hyun Joong has been chosen as a model for a outdoor clothing brand.
On April 9, Kim’s agency, Key East, revealed that Kim has been chosen as the model for an outdoor brand.
Kim who is also modeling for other brands such as casual wear, cosmetics, jewelry, and duty-free shops proved himself as the “commercial king” by modeling for an outdoor brand as well.
A representative of the outdoor brand reveals, “We chose Kim Hyun Joong because his lively and healthy image suits our brand’s image well.”
Kim will start working as their model from mid-April and appear in various magazines and pictorials.

MBC sets eyes on Kim Hyun-joong

Hallyu sensation Kim Hyun-joong will have a frank discussion about his struggles with depression on a special MBC program profiling the singer, which will air on Saturday.
Kim will reveal the dark thoughts that went through his mind during his time in Japan on “Special Report: The K-pop Star Who Bewitched the World – Lucky Guy Kim Hyun-joong,” the show’s producers said.

MBC said that never-before-seen footage of Kim from his Japan arena tour will be shown to accompany the stories.

In addition, the 25-year-old star will open up about his 10-year friendship with JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong, whom he met before either successfully broke into the entertainment industry in Korea.

To examine Kim from a different angle, friends of the star will also appear on the special Hallyu program to discuss his school days.

And as Kim is currently preparing for the release of a new album in June, details about the upcoming record will be divulged on the show, too.

The ticket details for the fanmeet was released by concert organiser for the first-ever “Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012” which will be held 4 May 2012 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

It was revealed that this will be the first-ever fan meeting with a plump programme more akin to a mini concert. There will be a limited number of 3000 tickets for sale with less than 500 premiere seats and no more than 900 arena seats. Fans can look forward to spectacular laser shows, sprawling LED screen, over 10 hit songs from his solo albums and cozy takl show segments. Moreover, lucky fans will be able go on stage and interact with Kim Hyun Joong!

Ticket sales begin 18 April at 10am with a two-day priority booking period for UOB One and UOB Debit Card Cardmembers. Public Sales begin 20 April at 10am, you can purchase using both online and offline methods – via SISTIC online, phone and counter bookings. Tickets are priced at $138 (balcony), $168 (terrace) and $198 (arena & premiere seats).
